To foster new opportunities for collaboration with a view to strengthening knowledge transfer

We took part in the ISTOBAL Open Innovation Co-creation Workshop and in the Foro Colabora sessions, held within the BIOVAL Impulsa project.

As part of the ITACA Forward project, we promote new collaboration opportunities to strengthen knowledge transfer, generate synergies and jointly address major technological and innovation challenges. An example: last week, we took part in two innovation events:

  • On 15 May, José Dahoui and Mercedes Poveda attended the ISTOBAL Open Innovation Co-creation Workshop, an event designed to address business challenges and collaboratively develop innovative solutions.
  • ON 19 May, Mercedes Poveda and Jose Millet Roig participated in the Foro Colabora sessions, held within the BIOVAL Impulsa project at Biohub VLC. This fifth edition was focused on biomedicine and the speakers presented the latest trends in biomedicine and innovation.

In addition, Andreu M. Climent, researcher at COR group – ITACA and CEO of Corify, participated in the discussion panel “Caso de éxito – Una charla sin filtros con el CEO de Corify Care”, where he shared his experience of turning research into a business, discussing the main differences between the academic and entrepreneurial sectors, as well as the challenges associated with innovation and entrepreneurship.

These initiatives reinforce ITACA-UPV’s commitment to collaborative innovation and to strengthening the connection between research, technology and industry.
