The 2025 Annual Report marks a new institutional period led by Director María Guillem Sánchez and the rollout of the 2025–2031 Strategic Plan. Driven by an interdisciplinary community of 120 researchers, the year delivered strong scientific, financial, and technology transfer results:

• Scientific Output: Published 62 journal articles and 79 conference papers.
• R&D Activity: Managed 156 ongoing projects and contracts, securing €3.78M in competitive external funding.
• Technology Transfer: Maintained 34 active patents, 5 spin-off companies, and launched the UCIE ITACA-Forward innovation unit.
