María Guillem Sánchez officially assumed the directorship of the ITACA Institute on 7 April, during the institutional ceremony held at the Paraninfo of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). A leading researcher and head of the COR group, Guillem succeeds José Manuel Catalá, who has led the Institute for the past eight years. With over twelve years of experience as deputy director, Guillem begins this new phase with a vision focused on growth, scientific excellence and continuous improvement.

She is joined on the management team by Antonio Martínez Millana, Head of the Traffic Control Systems Group (SCT) and researcher at SABIEN, and David de Andrés Martínez, researcher in the Fault-Tolerant Systems Group (STF).
