ITACA-UPV will host two events on sustainable cooling and geothermal energy

- The events will take place on 28 and 29 October in a hybrid format, with support from the Generalitat Valenciana through funding for communication activities and the uptake of results from the European projects Cooling Down and LIFE geoBOOST.

The Universitat Politècnica de València will host two events dedicated to sustainable cooling and geothermal energy on 28 and 29 October. Both sessions will begin at 9:00 AM and can be attended in person or online via Microsoft Teams.

The first event, “Refrigeración sostenible y ciudades resilientes”, will take place on 28 October and explore urban adaptation to heat and thermal resilience, efficient cooling and energy solutions, with practical case studies for buildings and municipalities.

On 29 October, «Geotermia y transición energética” will focus on geothermal potential and local energy planning. The session will cover applications in buildings, municipalities and thermal networks, alongside practical case studies and opportunities for decarbonisation.

Both events will include welcome coffee, networking opportunities and a cocktail reception to encourage exchanges among participants.
