
María Guillem-Sánchez
ITACA Director
Dr. Maria S. Guillem was a Fulbright fellow at Northwestern University and currently is a Professor at the Electronics Engineering Department at UPV. Dr. Guillem is co-author of 40 international scientific research papers, more than 100 conference papers, 3 patents, and has participated in 40 nation/international research projects, 7 of them as Principal Investigator. Her research interests include the development of medical instrumentation and signal processing for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases. She participates in the Executive Board of the Consortium for Electrocardiographic imaging and the Board of Directors of Computing in Cardiology. She is also co-founder of the spin-off CORIFY CARE.

Antonio Martínez-Millana
ITACA Deputy Director
Dr. Antonio Martínez Millana (Valencia, 1985) is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the UPV. With more than 15 years of experience in research and development in the field of digital health, Antonio has led and participated in numerous European projects focused on telemedicine, wearable devices, process mining and mathematical modelling applied to chronic diseases such as diabetes. His research work has resulted in more than 95 scientific publications and more than 1,400 citations, participating as a trainer in international programmes with WHO European Region. Antonio is also co-founder of ARGOS MOBILITY SL, a spin-off of the UPV that develops new generation electronic traffic control systems.

David de Andrés-Martínez
ITACA Administration Manager
Dr. David de Andrés is an Associate Professor of the Computer Engineering Department (DISCA) at UPV. He conducts his research in the Fault-Tolerant Systems (STF) Area of the ITACA Institute. His current research interests include run-time reconfigurable hardware systems, fault and attack injection for robustness assessment, dependability benchmarking, and dependability-aware design space exploration.
