On December 3, at 10:00 a.m. in the Maxwell Room (4D building) of the Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering, Universitat Politècnica de València, the reading and defense of the Doctoral Thesis “Post-processing of ECGI to detect atrial drivers” by Mr. Carlos Fambuena Santos are scheduled.
The Director of the Doctoral Thesis is María Salud Guillem Sánchez, researcher of ITACA Institute.
The report, based on passive dosimetry campaigns of NO₂ carried out between 2023 and 2025, highlights the need to strengthen prevention and emission control policies, particularly those linked to urban traffic. The study identifies a direct relationship between road traffic and NO₂ concentrations.
The study was developed by Carlos Fernández-Llatas and Alejandro Gómez-Noé (SABIEN-ITACA), in collaboration with Begoña Martínez-Salvador and Mar Marcos from the Universitat Jaume I.
