CURE-AF: Advancing Non-Invasive Mapping for Atrial Fibrillation
The CURE-AF project («Clinical Utilization and Evidence Generation for Real-time ECGI in Atrial Fibrillation») aims to revolutionize the treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF) by validating and scaling Corify Care’s ACORYS system—a non-invasive, real-time electrocardiographic imaging (ECGI) technology.
With over 60 million people affected by AF worldwide and treatment failure rates of up to 50%, CURE-AF addresses a critical need: improving the precision and success of cardiac ablation procedures by enabling full-chamber, real-time electrical mapping without the need for invasive techniques.
Funded as an Innovation-to-Market project in Digital Transformation of Healthcare (DTH), CURE-AF focuses on clinical validation, market access, and reimbursement strategies in Spain, Portugal, and Germany. The project brings together leading hospitals, academic institutions like the Universitat Politècnica de València, and commercial partners to prepare ACORYS for broad European deployment.
By the end of the project, ACORYS will be positioned for sustainable commercialization across Europe, supported by robust clinical evidence, health economics data, and regulatory alignment.
