Research makes sense when the work we carry out has a real impact on society\u00bb<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.itaca.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Eloina_song-1.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Gemma Lucas:<\/strong><em> \u201cDoing a PhD means being on the front line of technological change, contributing to the generation of knowledge<\/em>\u00ab. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.itaca.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Gemma_Song-1-1.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00c1ngela Gonz\u00e1lez:<\/strong><em> \u201cOne of the main challenges for younger women researchers is learning to manage uncertainty, something inherent to research\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.itaca.upv.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Angela_Song.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Zoe Valero: <\/strong><em>\u201cScience needs women. If we want to change things, we must be present.
