Gema Ibáñez and Ferrán Mocholí, researchers of the ITACA Institute, have received two of the seven honorable mentions of the Prize for Entrepreneurial Potential of Research Projects of Young Researchers 2020, organised by the Network of Valencian Universities for the promotion of Research, Development and Innovation (RUVID), which has the collaboration of Alternative Scientific Careers and the financing of the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).
Gema Ibáñez has received the honorable mention in the field of Health for the proposal “PROCESS MINING 4 HEALTH”, a solution that transforms hospital data into knowledge that facilitates the management and optimization of hospital processes thanks to the application of Process Mining.
Ferrán Mocholí has received the honorable mention in the field of Automotive and Sustainable Mobility for the proposal “GROUP OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEMS”, a solution for smart cities based on magnetic loops that facilitates the control of new personal mobility vehicles, like, for example, electric scooters.
