There will be a workshop on Internet of Things (IoT) on the 9th April (from 11:00 to 13:30) at ETSINF Building in Universitat Politècnica de València.
This event pretends to show real examples of the use of IoT and ICTs for the “social good”, a “good” or a service that benefits the greatest number of people in the widest possible way. Some classic examples of social goods are, of course, health, safety, environment, democracy and human rights, but communication, art, entertainment and much more has been added to this list.
One of the speakers is Angel Perles, researcher of ITACA Institute, with a talk about how IoT can help preserve cultural heritage.
All the information related to the workshop can be found here.
